Atsuo Kishimoto is a professor at the Institute for Datability Science and director of the Research Center on Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues at Osaka University. He is originally an economist by training and has worked for the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) as a risk assessor.
