Well-written book on the Arduino Microcontroller. I was able to complete the book and experiments in about a day. All the experiments worked in this book. Easy to understand explanations. Gave me a good foundation to build on for the rest of the series.

I am currently an engineering student. We received some classroom instruction on Arduino. But you can only get so much from PowerPoint presentations. These books have really helped to fill in the gaps. I’ve suggested these books to several friends.

I enjoy the practical examples for each display type and the sequencing. They are gaining in popularity as Arduino projects become mobile and power-savvy. I noted that pins 2 and 4 in Figure 4-7 are swapped. If wired as described in the code, the experiment works fine.

Starting from the ground up, his book gets you going with Arduino. If you have some Arduino experience, skip this one. Well written and easy to understand.

Very good book about LED displays and shift registers. Includes a touch of LCD displays as well. Nice intermediate material.
